This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 24 development cycle. Changing version to '24'. More information and reason for this action is here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Program_Management/HouseKeeping/Fedora24#Rawhide_Rebase
configure adds -Werror which triggers several deprecation warnings to become errors: CFLAGS="${CFLAGS} -Wall -Werror -std=c99 -Wmissing-prototypes" The -Werror needs to be removed from that line in configure{.in,}. The indentation warning triggered by -Wall was a false alarm as well.
Yaakov, thanks for the hint.
I've applied the patch to F-24/25 and Rawhide, and kicked off builds on the latter two.
Hmm, not sure why the F-25 update doesn't show up. Here it is: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-6e78336949
