From Per-Steinar Karlsen via comment on book [1] in portal:

It seems that step two in 10.3. External SaaS Provider is wrong, or at least not supported yet. I have not been able to create an endpoint with a FQDN in stead of an IP address. Error message: json: cannot unmarshal string into Go value of type []v1.EndpointSubset

Please add a comment to the book when this is fixed.
