Description of problem:

Increase CPUs number in VM edit dialog of running VM is not propagated to virtual sockets. The issue happens only when updating running VM, it does work correctly for stopped VM and in New VM dialog as well.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhevm-webadmin-portal-3.6.3.4-0.1.el6.noarch

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. have a running vm
2. open edit and increase number of cpus
3. click OK button

Actual results:
Total Virtual CPUs box gets red border, Advanced Properities reveals 'Virtual Sockets' still has original vCPUs value.

Expected results:
Changed value of Total Virtual CPUs should be transparently propagated to 'Virtual Sockets' so submitting the dialog via OK button works.

Comment 2 meital avital 2016-05-09 11:36:13 UTC
Verified on rhevm-3.6.6.2-0.1.el6

Verify steps:
1. have a running vm
2. open edit and increase number of cpus
3. click OK button

-> the 'Virtual Sockets' changed accordingly to the Total Virtual CPUs.
