Description of problem: There is a problem to display all templates. We experience such behaviour in an environment with 167 templates in three Datacenters. An issue is that not all templates are displayed. It is true if we display many templates (more than 100). In case of checking DC one by one (selecting DC in navigation panel), all of them are displayed. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHEV-M: rhevm 3.5.6.2-0.1.el6ev browsers: IE 11.0.9600.18204 but same problem with Firefox and Chrome How reproducible: Create more than 100 templates in more than 1 DC Steps to Reproduce: 1. install rhevm and create more then 1 DC 2. create more than 100 templates 3. display templates for System/System Actual results: Not all templates are displayed. Expected results: All are displayed properly.
Please provide logs.
paging doesn't work?
no need for the full log collector - just engine log from the relevant time period and FE logs (the browsers javascript console if it is 3.5 setup). Thanx
It starts to feel like an actual bug. Targeting to 4.0 and lets see if we will manage to backport. @Shmuel: does it reproduce for you?
Yes. I have more than 1000 templates, but Templates tab shows only 97 and paging buttons are inactive.
And yes, paging buttons become active, when I select a particular DC in the tree.
Bug verified on RHEVM 4.0.2-0.2.rc1.el7ev It doesn't reproduce. See attached screenshots. The reproducing flow is: - Created 5 DC, 5 Clusters - Created 25 templates on each DC RHEVM shows 100 templates when you browse System/Templates. "Next" button is enabled and allows to view next page with other Templates. On last page "Previous" button is enabled also and allows to view previous 100 Templates. I think, the bug could be closed.
