Description of problem:
If you try to change the console settings video type setting from CIRRUS to QXL in a running VM over the UI, its informs you that this setting will only change after poweroff the VM. So far so good, actually the icon changed to inform you about a pending (offline) change, but if you click again edit to verify the commit its switched back to CIRRUS.

Actual results:
No change is taken effect

Expected results:
Video Type is QXL after VM poweroff and on again

Additional info:
If VM is already in Off-state the settings is working as expected

I investigated a bit further, i have to change the describtion to:

If you try to change the console settings video type setting from CIRRUS to QXL in a running VM over the UI and the VM has no Network interface attached, its informs you that this setting will only change after poweroff the VM. So far so good, actually the icon changed to inform you about a pending (offline) change, but if you click again edit to verify the commit its switched back to CIRRUS.

Actual results:
No change is taken effect

Expected results:
Video Type is QXL after VM poweroff and on again or a failure message will pop up if this settings depends on an attached network interface to the VM itselfs.

Additional info:
If VM has attached NIC the settings is working as expected
