Description of problem: I have an OpenShift Online app, where Postgresql database is seperated from python app. However later today I ran into "disk quota exceeded": Warning: Gear 56..ee is using 98.6% of disk quota Failed to execute: 'control start' for /var/lib/openshift/56..ee/postgresql I had to upgrade to bronze plan, add extra 1GB storage to find out my session table was full. My point is, would it be possible to manage database without need to upgrade? If quota is exceeded, you can not start gear and basically do nothing. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): OpenShift Online How reproducible: Exceed quota limit Actual results: Gear is disabled and can not be started Expected results: Gear is disabled but you can manage some basic stuff.
This looks like a duplicate of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1292133. The fix was merged upstream (Comment 5 of bz) but hasn't made it into OpenShift Online yet. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1292133 ***
