Red Hat Product Errata RHBA-2016:2144 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE wpa_supplicant bug fix update 2016-11-03 13:11:26 UTC

Description Lubomir Rintel 2016-03-21 14:33:38 UTC
The above (a rule without send_destination) is useless and forbids *all* messages without an interface set, such as method_responses from NetworkManager VPN plugins.

This upstream commit needs to be backported:

Comment 2 Ken Benoit 2016-05-26 19:21:53 UTC
Tested using RHEL-7.3-20160525.n.0. Verified that /etc/dbus-1/system.d/wpa_supplicant.conf no longer contains the <deny send_interface="..."/> lines in question under the <policy context="default"> section. The <deny send_interface="..."/> lines were present in RHEL-7.2. Marking as verified.
