Description of problem: In System > Control Center > Power Management Preferences > On Battery Power I have not enabled 'Reduce backlight brightness' or 'Dim display when idle'. After a few minutes on battery power, the screen dims, even when I am actively typing. I can increase the brightness slightly by enabling 'Reduce backlight brightness' and bring the screen back to normal brightness by disabling this option again. The problem periodically repeats (every ~10 minutes). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): MATE Desktop Environment 1.12.1 How reproducible: Both times I tried battery power yesterday (the first time I tried battery power since upgrading to Fedora 23) this happened. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unplug the power. 2. Wait a short while. 3. Actual results: Screen dims while actively using the computer. Expected results: I expect the Power Management Preference settings to be obeyed. Additional info:
Hmm, i can't reproduce this. On my notebook it works as expected.
