Hi, I installed F24 Alpha to have a look on translation and this interesting Change : https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/LangpacksInstallationWithRPMWeakDependencies After installation in French, but Libreoffice aren't configured in French. typing dnf list "langpacks-*" successfully returns packages, but only English is installed. typing dnf install langpacks-fr successfully returns packages like "libreoffice-langpack-fr"
confirmed, Live and Server install showed not a single "langpacks-*" metapackage installed on the system.
Can you attach the log from Anaconda, please. I am looking especially at "Selected lang..." lines Moreover attach the dnf.log (from the installation) in case langpack package was not found. In bug 1319073 David explains that it's not possible no install langpacks by design in live images. I didn't get the reason though.
Well if Live images can't install langpacks then I need to think a bit on what we implemented since last 2 months, was it really worth? I mean we are again at **ZERO**.
