Description Viktor Ashirov 2016-04-07 14:40:01 UTC
New option for setup-ds.pl is introduced in https://fedorahosted.org/389/ticket/47840

If set to false, instance specific scripts will not be created, i.e. there will be no /usr/lib64/dirsrv/slapd-instance.
It defaults to true, but it is a subject to change in the future versions.

This should be mentioned at least in:

* The Install Guide, in table 1.1:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Directory_Server/10/html/Installation_Guide/about-setup-ds-admin.pl.html#tab.setup-ds-admin-options

* The CCFR Guide, tables in ch. 9.4.21 and 9.4.22:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Directory_Server/10/html/Configuration_Command_and_File_Reference/Perl_Scripts.html#setup-ds.pl

* Possibly also in ch. 3 or 4 of the Install Guide, I might add a short separate section for "how to install DS without creating instances" so it shows up in the table of contents and gets more visibility.
