Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Og Maciel 2016-04-07 17:07:34 UTC
Watch this video: https://omaciel.fedorapeople.org/OperatingSystem.mov

This video shows that even though I properly synchronized the Kickstart repository for RHEL 7.2, visiting the Operating System's page and selecting RHEL 7.2 shows that no partition tables or medium is associated with it. I had to edit the Default Location and Default Organization to make sure that they were included. I can see how this would confuse our users.

Comment 3 Brad Buckingham 2016-04-11 12:52:03 UTC
In order to address the partition table aspect of this bug, it looks like we will also need bug 1324177.

Comment 4 Mike McCune 2016-04-11 16:36:50 UTC
With SNAP 7.1 the Medium is properly associated to the Org but none of the Partition Tables are, which is what 1324177 addresses.

Comment 5 Mike McCune 2016-04-18 18:19:14 UTC
1324177 is VERIFIED, moving this ON_QA

Comment 8 Jitendra Yejare 2016-04-19 07:33:42 UTC
Verified this issue in Sat 6.2 snap 8.2

Partition table( Kickstart default ) and Installation media are now associated to Operating System without manually changing there location and organization.

Verification Screenshots attached.

Moving to Verified.
