This bug has been copied from bug #1317381 and has been proposed to be backported to 7.2 z-stream (EUS).
IPA Server Version(7.2.z / 7.2 up4): ipa-server-4.2.0-15.el7_2.15.x86_64 Verified the bug on the basis of following points: 1. Verified that no "sladpd" related crash report was observed for upgrade path 7.2(GA) to 7.2up4. 2. Verified that no "sladpd" related crash report was observed for upgrade path 7.2up2 to 7.2up4. Thus on the basis of above observations, marking the status of the bug to "VERIFIED".
Slapi-Nis version found: slapi-nis-0.54-8.el7_2.x86_64
Re-opening it again as as NIS functionality was not working. I provided VM and Alexander found that nis plugin initialization was not finished as per following dirsrv error logs, [21/Apr/2016:15:40:05 +051800] nis-plugin - scheduled nis-plugin tree scan in about 5 seconds after the server startup! Verified.
