Red Hat Product Errata RHEA-2016:1681 normal SHIPPED_LIVE rhevm-spice-client bug fix and enhancement update for RHV 4.0 2016-09-02 17:09:20 EDT

  None (edit)
Description Uri Lublin 2016-04-20 10:46:09 EDT
Description of problem:
Only support the usbdk driver in RHEV-M 4.0 or newer.

The usbdk driver supports more devices than usbclerk (WinUSB).
Also usbdk is installed once using an MSI installer.

UsbDk is supported since RHEV-M 3.6
Comment 1 Yaniv Lavi 2016-05-09 07:02:31 EDT
oVirt 4.0 Alpha has been released, moving to oVirt 4.0 Beta target.
Comment 4 David Jaša 2016-05-10 04:57:23 EDT
Will 4.0 UsbDk installer also replace usbclerk installations (and possibly old redirector installations), to ease the transition?

No, users would need to remove it manually.

If both usbclerk and usbdk are installed, usbdk is to be used for
spice usbredir by remote-viewer.
