Pulp Redmine 1879 0 High CLOSED - CURRENTRELEASE Incorrect name when syncing puppet module from the filesystem 2016-06-27 17:00:55 UTC

Description Tom McKay 2016-04-29 17:35:01 UTC
### For creating local motd module ###
sudo mkdir /var/www/html/pub/puppet-modules
sudo chmod a+rw /var/www/html/pub/puppet-modules
git clone https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-motd.git
cd puppetlabs-motd
sudo pulp-puppet-module-builder --output-dir /var/www/html/pub/puppet-modules .

The module name is puppetlabs-motd. Syncing the repo into katello it shows up in foreman UI as simply "motd" which then cannot be found by puppet.

Verified on 6.3.0 snap 13. puppet module shows up in the ui as 'tomcat' and appears on the filesystem once published in a cv as /etc/puppet/environments/KT_Default_Organization_Library_asdfasdf_2/modules/tomcat/metadata.json
