Description Radovan Drazny 2016-05-05 14:02:20 UTC
Description of problem:
If you create a remote command task for multiple systems using SSM, its record in WebUI -> Schedule says "Run Sh Script on X clients (sys1, sys2, sys3...)". Now if you cancel the task for some systems, and let it run on the rest, there is a line in the WebUI -> Schedule -> Completed actions saying for example "Run Sh Script on 3 clients (sys1, sys2, sys3), Succeeds: 2, Failed: 0, Pending: 0, Total: 2" There is a number discrepancy between the task name and task statistics. That could confuse users.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
spacewalk-backend-2.3.3-41.el6sat

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. You need at least two systems registered to the Satellite with rhncfg-actions installed and enabled.
2. Schedule remote command execution for systems from step 1 using SSM.
3. Run rhn_check on one of the systems.
4. Cancel the remote command task for the other system.
5. Check the task info in WebUI -> Schedule -> Completed actions.

Actual results:
Difference between task name, and task statistic.

Expected results:
There should be help text reminding users, that if they have canceled a task for some systems from the original task system set, there will be a difference between the task name and the task statistics.

Additional info:
This issue is probably valid for rest of WebUI -> Schedule -> * Actions pages.

Verified,
using the reproducer from the "Description".

spacewalk-java-2.3.8-138

Schedule -> Pending Actions | Failed Actions | Completed Actions | Archived Actions

Completed Actions
The following actions have been completed by one or more systems. Actions can only be archived by Org Admins or by the user who scheduled the action.

Note: For multi-system scheduled actions, the ability to cancel individual systems means that the number of clients mentioned in the Action column may not match the number in Total.
