Description of problem:

In 5.6, the 'Choose a VM' drop down is missing on the Optimize->Planning page.
The drop down is present in 5.5.I have attached a screen shot from 5.5.

Since the drop down is missing, I'm unable to make a VM selection for VM planning and the 'No VMs found' message is displayed.
