Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Maxim Burgerhout 2016-05-09 20:00:08 UTC
Description of problem:
When I try to save a bookmark for smart parameters, I get redirected back to the New Bookmark page after pressing Submit. Subsequent attempts to save the bookmark give the same result

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
6.2.0 beta SNAP 10

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Search for smart class parameter with e.g. puppetclass_name = ntp
2. On results page, click 'Bookmark this search'
3. Fill in the form, click 'submit'

Actual results:
New Bookmark page loads, clicking submit only reloads this page.

Expected results:
Bookmark is saved and available from drop down on search field

Created redmine issue http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/15321 from this bug

Comment 3 Bryan Kearney 2016-12-19 17:59:29 UTC
Upstream can not reproduce. Maxim, are you still seeing this on 6.2?

Comment 4 Maxim Burgerhout 2016-12-19 19:06:44 UTC
Just tried on 6.2.6: can search for parameters, with e.g. "puppetclass_name = ntp". When I try to save, I just get redirected to the page where I can edit the search again. Save never actually happens.

This should be resolved by the fix for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1391556, moving to post and aligning release.
