*** Bug 1358034 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
This feature request is for adding Ubuntu guest support to virt-v2v integrated import from VMware. It should be added to virt-v2v (will add dependent bug) hence available for command line use as well. It should also be agnostic to the actual source hypervisor, so should work for VMware vCenter, Xen and VMware OVA
The basic support for importing Debian/Ubuntu has been added to upstream virt-v2v. But the feature still needs to be tested, so there is no ETA yet when this will get to downstream virt-v2v or oVirt.
