Title: Add an Explicit Module Dependency to a Deployment

Describe the issue:
the attribute "export" has a description that this will "export the module".  The "optional" attribute is similarly documented and should likely be corrected as well.

Suggestions for improvement:
Please provide more detail or links to other sections that describe this functionality.  If export/optional is true vs false, what happens during a deployment?
