Description Alex Dellapenta 2016-05-16 13:20:00 UTC
The following Mojo doc provides a use case / procedure for monitoring specific OpenShift projects via the API:

(internal) https://mojo.redhat.com/docs/DOC-1079396

This could be added to the Cluster Admin docs for when an admin wants to monitor certain projects using an existing, external tool (e.g., Zabbix), separate from the "Enabling Cluster Metrics" method currently found in the Install & Config guide:

https://docs.openshift.com/enterprise/latest/install_config/cluster_metrics.html

There should probably be some cross-linking between the two early in their topics w/ some context on the differences.

The steps in the Mojo doc on creating the service account could be simplified starting in 3.2 by using "oc create serviceaccount".

This BZ should get QA'd by Eng QE.
