Description Effendi eL'Mut 2016-05-18 08:03:50 UTC
Description of problem: GPSbabel-gui does not offer the device /dev/ttyACM0

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
GPSBabel 1.5.2 (Using backend 1.5.2)

How reproducible:
Open GPSbabel-gui and use pulldown menu to select the input device, and it does not offer /dev/ttyACM0.

Steps to Reproduce:
This is a static device selection restriction

Actual results:
/dev/ttys0 (/dev/ttys0 - s3)
/dev/ttyUSB0
/dev/rfcomm0

Expected results:
Offer or be able to configure /dev/ttyACM0

Additional info:
I am using a USB connected STMicroelectronics STM32F407 based GPSlogger. This Model GT-730FL-S device can be addressed as /dev/ttyACM0.
I can download a track with the commandline:
"gpsbabel -i skytraq -f /dev/ttyACM0 -x height,wgs84tomsl -o kml -F track.kml"
For ease of use I would like to be able to access this device by gui.
