I see Python 3 added in spec in upstream git: https://github.com/spacewalkproject/spacewalk/blob/master/client/rhel/rhnlib/rhnlib.spec So my question is: is this ready for Fedora? If so, could you please add the change? If not, can you please provide more information? Thanks
I am aware of that. And I will build the package for Fedora once Spacewalk team will do the release (which is one for all Spacewalk packages). It happen usually every 2 months.
Will this mean Spacewalk will run on Py3, or just that some of the libraries will have the subpackages ready?
That the client packages will be able to run on Py3. I am not aware of initiative to migrate backend to Py3 (and spacewalk-backend is AFAIK not in Fedora).
New upstream version with python3 support just landed in rawhide.
