Description of problem: When attempting to save files in gedit, the application crashes after typing a file name and clicking save. This issue only occurs with gtk3-3.20.5. Rolling back to gtk3-3.20.4 fixes the issue. This issue appears to be global and affects even applications like firefox. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gtk3-3.20.5-1.fc24 gedit-3.20.2-1.fc24 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade to GTK+3.20.5 2. Open gedit 3. Write some data 4. Save the file Actual results: gedit crashes Expected results: File is saved, and gedit doesn't crash Additional info: This issue was first discovered by Mageia.
Hi! This happens here on Mageia v6 x86-64 as well. See: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18505 downgrading to gtk+3.20.4 fixes the problem.
