Doc Type: Enhancement
Doc Text:
The virt-viewer and libgovirt packages have been updated to adjust to authentication changes in Red Hat Virtualization 4.0. This ensures that the foreign menu continues working correctly on Red Hat Virtualization 4.0 when starting the remote-viewer utility using the web portal interface. Note, however, that the menu does not work when starting remote-viewer from the command line.

Red Hat Product Errata RHEA-2016:1681 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE rhevm-spice-client bug fix and enhancement update for RHV 4.0 2016-09-02 21:09:20 UTC

Comment 1 Michal Skrivanek 2016-06-09 07:45:54 UTC
Fabiano, AFAICT the dependent bugs are on RHEL 7.3. RHEV 4.0 is released on RHEL 7.2 so technically this bug on RHEV product can't be considered fixed in 4.0 unless there are 7.2.z backports of SPICE components. Right?

The dependencies are mainly there because of the cloning I think, this bug is about the Windows builds (Component: mingw-virt-viewer), which are not impacted by whether or not the 7.3/7.2.z bits make it through, so I believe it's fine to mark this one as fixed.
