What is this bug referring?

Comment 3 Rob Armstrong 2016-05-27 22:36:10 UTC
Not a bug, it is more of an RFE:

Comment 5 Nir Yechiel 2017-01-12 13:32:31 UTC
This is too late for RHOSP 11, moving to 12.

@Rob, can we get more information about this request? What is the business justification and do you have some more concrete user stories or customer use-case?

Thanks,
Nir

Comment 10 Nir Yechiel 2017-06-28 22:59:02 UTC
@Rob,

The feature was implemented upstream but we did not test or verify it with RHOSP so far due to low customer demand, and it's not officially supported. Can you share more information on the business impact and actual use-case? Do we expect it to land in a particular release?

Thanks,
Nir

Comment 11 Rob Armstrong 2017-10-30 15:17:06 UTC
Nir, apologies for the delayed response.

This is a scale-enabling feature. Intel does not have a specific customer asking for it, but it came from the Large Deployment Team within OpenStack. Here is the full use case in case you have not seen.

Comment 15 Pavan Chavva 2018-10-18 19:36:43 UTC
Hi krish/Rob,

This has not been considered for OSP 15.

If this is still a priority for Intel,we can reconsider it for OSP 16.

Best,
Pavan.
