Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 134208
default firewall rules break mDNS
Last modified: 2007-11-30 17:10:50 EST
It seems the default firewall rules filter out mDNS traffic.
All mDNS traffic is on the 169.254 subnet, yes?
No 126.96.36.199 port 5353 for mDNS, dns-sd via unicast should work fine
with current rules.

allow mDNS traffic
This patch works for me.
Commited - I'll hold off releasing until I have both smb and cups
browsing issues sorted.
This is in.
