Description Martin Kudlej 2016-06-03 09:51:32 UTC
Description of problem:
Cluster is configured by default that if free space is under 20% there is warning alert about cluster utilization. I don't see any alert for this and cluster free space is under 19%.

python-cephfs-10.2.1-6.el7cp.x86_64
rhscon-agent-0.0.8-1.el7scon.noarch

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create cluster and 2 pools
2. try to put data to utilize at least 81% of cluster space
3. check alerts utilization graphs

It takes some time for ceph df command to reflect the rise in cluster utilization and add to it our 10 mins sync interval. So, it takes 10 mins post this for the rhscon to know that the cluster utilization has crossed this threshold.

Comment 5 Martin Kudlej 2016-06-06 07:31:09 UTC
I've waited more than 30 minutes for any alert.

Comment 6 Martin Kudlej 2016-08-08 13:06:08 UTC
Tested with
ceph-ansible-1.0.5-32.el7scon.noarch
ceph-installer-1.0.14-1.el7scon.noarch
rhscon-ceph-0.0.40-1.el7scon.x86_64
rhscon-core-0.0.41-1.el7scon.x86_64
rhscon-core-selinux-0.0.41-1.el7scon.noarch
rhscon-ui-0.0.52-1.el7scon.noarch
and it works.
