Description Jaspreet Kaur 2016-06-03 13:30:51 UTC
1. Proposed title of this feature request
Enable log rotation for docker as default in Openshift:

  `--log-opt max-size=1M --log-opt max-file=3'

3. What is the nature and description of the request?

It has been mandate that we need to enable log rotation to avoid issues of docker or else it will fill soon or finally get corrupt. Hence, there should be something that should be enabled by default in the OSE platform

4. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

To avoid this issue in future

5. How would the customer like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)

Enabled bydefault would be great or gets enabled via ansible.

6. For each functional requirement listed, specify how Red Hat and the customer can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented.

N/A

7. Is there already an existing RFE upstream or in Red Hat Bugzilla?

no

8. Does the customer have any specific timeline dependencies and which release would they like to target ?
Soon would be great

9. Is the sales team involved in this request and do they have any additional input?

no

10. List any affected packages or components.

11. Would the customer be able to assist in testing this functionality if implemented?
yes
