Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

foreman debug

Description of problem:
When trying to add errata to a content view through a filter, you are unable to see the errata. Upon opening the browser's console, you can see that there as a 500 ISE for the GET request.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.2 Beta Snap 15.2

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a content view with at least one repository hosting errata.
2. Create a new errata filter.
3. Go to add tab (if not already presented with the errata add view)

Actual results:
No errata seen. Instead a constant loading icon is shown, also a 500 ISE is present in the web console. See attached screenshot and foreman debug output.

Expected results:
The errata is visible and no errors are shown in the web console.

Comment 3 Brad Buckingham 2016-06-20 20:28:26 UTC
Hi Jake, are you able to reproduce this error on SNAP 16 (or later)? I tried to reproduce it on my env (with 7Server) and did not see any errors.

Also, did you happen to see any errors reported during the sync of the repo? One thought there may be an erratum with uuid=nil, which would indicate an error during the sync process. If that is the case, I wonder if re-syncing would alter the behavior.

Comment 4 jcallaha 2016-06-30 15:32:15 UTC
Brad,

Yep i'm still seeing the issue even after resync'ing all repos and republishing the content view.

Comment 5 Brad Buckingham 2016-06-30 18:41:18 UTC
It appears that the issue occurs whenever there is at least 1 repository associated with the content view without errata.

Comment 6 Brad Buckingham 2016-06-30 20:06:35 UTC
Created redmine issue http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/15557 from this bug

Comment 8 jcallaha 2016-07-06 18:10:41 UTC
Verified in Satellite 6.2 Beta Snap 19.

Errata are showing properly in content view errata filters. See attached image.
