Description Lucy Bopf 2016-06-19 23:57:01 UTC
In RHV 4.0, package names are now identical between rhevm and ovirt-engine. Some downstream-only packages will retain the 'rhevm' branding, while packages shared between RHV and oVirt will used the 'ovirt-engine' branding.

For example, 'yum install rhevm-websocket-proxy' will become 'yum install ovirt-engine-websocket-proxy'.

All 'rhevm-*' packages mentioned in the documentation must be checked, and updated if necessary. Note that the Manager itself is still installed via 'yum install rhevm'.

See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1251129#c2 for further details.

Comment 1 Julie 2016-08-22 23:19:20 UTC
Also change rhevm-shell to ovirt-shell.

Comment 2 Tahlia Richardson 2016-08-22 23:31:21 UTC
Change to rhevm-shell might require its own bug, since there's a whole guide dedicated to it.

Comment 3 Tahlia Richardson 2016-08-22 23:56:12 UTC
All rhevm-* is now ovirt-engine-* (with the exception of rhevm-shell, which is now ovirt-shell)

Except:
(from BZ#1251129)
rhevm
rhevm-appliance
rhevm-branding-rhev
rhevm-dependencies
rhevm-doc
rhevm-guest-agent-common
rhevm-guest-agent-debuginfo
rhevm-guest-agent-gdm-plugin
rhevm-guest-agent-pam-module
rhevm-setup-plugins
rhevm-spice-client
(I also found)
fence-agents-rhevm
