Description of problem: SSIA ibus IMEs not working at all on GNOME Wayland desktop in F24. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ibus-1.5.13-1.fc24.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. install F24 WS in Japanese 2. start GNOME Wayland session 3. try to input Japanese into gedit etc Actual results: ibus-kkc not working - just ascii input Expected results: Japanese input to work (I think same for Chinese etc) Additional info: Maybe related to /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/ibus.conf etc not being read at startup. I can try to compare envvars later.
It seems this problem have been fixed by upstream, but upstream have not made a release for it. https://github.com/ibus/ibus/issues/1859 https://github.com/ibus/ibus/commit/3ef21fe.patch
