Description Colin Charles 2004-10-08 01:19:24 EDT
Description of problem: anaconda failed to install a kernel, so none
of the bootloader information needed to be changed, as an error
message. The real problem is that kernel-2.6.8-1.598 isn't being built
for PPC for some reason

How reproducible:

So installation on PPC now fails, since we lack a working kernel.

Fixed in .603. binutils was breaking the kernel build on ppc*.
