From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041012

Description of problem:
alsa mixer settings are no longer being saved, the link in my
/etc/rc.d/rc6.d points to a non-existant file.

I have tried using alsactl store, but this did not fix the problem.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Reboot
2. Mixer volues reset to 0

Actual Results: Mixer volumes are reset to 0.

Expected Results: Mixer volumes should be saved.

There is no S00save-alsamixer script; never has been.

Perhaps you're seeing bug 133535.
