Description of problem:

Frequently /usr/libexec/gsd-backlight-helper tries to change the display brightness even though automatic brightness is turned off, and often it tries to make changes every second or two. It renders 'journalctl -f' completely useless due to this constant spamming of very unhelpful information.

Expected results:

Seeing as I have the automatic brightness feature turned off I don't expect to see constant messages about brightness being changed when it isn't being changed. I have other things I'm trying to follow...
