Description Robert Buchholz 2016-07-26 08:18:17 UTC
Description of problem:
When running a backup job using an exclude file, a deprecation warning is printed by duplitiy.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
duply-1.9.1-1.el7.noarch
duplicity-0.7.08-1.1.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade to latest duplicity in EPEL (from duplicity-0.6.26-1.el7.x86_64 to duplicity-0.7.08-1.1.el7.x86_64 via https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2016-2ff0a10bb6 )
2. Create a backup job using an exclude file
3. duply $name backup_purge_cleanup

Actual results:
Prints warning:
Warning: Option --exclude-globbing-filelist is pending deprecation and will be removed in a future release.
--include-filelist and --exclude-filelist now accept globbing characters and should be used instead.

Expected results:

No warning.

Additional info:
This was fixed in duply 1.10, see http://duply.net/wiki/index.php/Duply-Changelog

1.10 (31.7.2015)
...
- bugfix 81: --exclude-globbing-filelist is deprecated since 0.7.03
