Description of problem: On a fresh ISO install, if you select to register the host for updates an error is seen because networking hasn't been enabled yet. We will attempt to register the host with the credentials passed in, but with networking not enabled the command fails. We could defer this registration to later in process after networking is enabled.
Fixed by BZ # 1360335. https://github.com/fusor/fusor-installer/pull/85
Registration has been moved to run AFTER you select option 1 Proceed with installation. If registration fails, i.e. wrong password, customer portal is down, etc. we will exit the installer. You can re-run the installer and choose not to register to get past those errors. By moving the register to after option 1 selection, we now run AFTER the network has been setup. If the network has not been setup, we fail and drop out of the installer. The state of register will now show true after you have changed it to true.
Will be in evening compose of 8/8
Verified in QCI-1.0-RHEL-7-20160815.t.0 Tried wrong password, and correct login and password. Both acted as expected.
Also, as part of testing, after fusor-installer was done, I used yum to install strace. This worked perfectly.
