Description of problem:

Invoking aws-shell gives the error 'pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: The 'colorama<=0.3.3,>=0.2.5' distribution was not found and is required by awscli'

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.10.45.1.fc24

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install aws-shell, e.g. 'sudo dnf install aws-shell'
2. Invoke aws-shell

pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: The 'colorama<=0.3.3,>=0.2.5' distribution was not found and is required by awscli

Expected results:
Shell prompt displayed

Additional info:
Suggested fix is to upgrade the awscli package to 1.10.47 or above, which is the first released version after https://github.com/aws/aws-cli/pull/2065

Comment 1 Fabio Alessandro Locati 2016-08-03 21:07:50 UTC
The solution is indeed correct and I'm already working on it. I've moved it to awscli since it's not an aws-shell problem, but an awscli one
