Description of problem:
I have no idea where this bug belongs, so I'm filing it here.

Gnome apps (for example Evolution, Gaim, Gnome-terminal)
will open http links in the default browser, but not https.
Opening https links does not produce any kind of output in evolution
and gaim, which is not user friendly. In gnome-terminal it results in
an error:

Could not open the address
"https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=72409":
There was an error launching the default action command associated
with this location.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-vfs2-2.8.2-4

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. See comments

What's the status of this?
I heard it was fixed upstream.
Is that true?

It's a really annoying bug.

Comment 2 Ivan Gyurdiev 2004-11-30 22:27:52 UTC
This is supposed to be fixed upstream.
Someone told me how to trigger the fix on fedora-list.
Closing.
