Created attachment 1193242 [details] DeletedProvideBug Description of problem: After adding 2 Containers Providers and removal of one of them the Containers Overview menu will still show the number of objects that includes the objects that belong to a deleted Containers Provider Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 5.6.1.2.20160810181333_8ba817b How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add 2 different Containers Providers in CFME 2. Refresh to discover all the objects 3. Delete 1 of the Providers 4. Refresh to re-discover all the objects 5. Check Compute --> Containers --> Overview 6. Check Compute --> Containers --> Overview --> Pods or any other object there Actual results: The menus will show objects from the deleted Provider Expected results: The menus should not show objects from the deleted Provider Additional info: Attached screenshots from different menus and also from the remaining Provider's summary that shows only the objects that should be shown in the main menu You can check the bug in my appliance: https://10.16.5.159
Ari can you take a look? Remember that when you ask to delete a provider the deletion is not happening immediately but it's happening as an asynchronous task (so it may take a little bit to happen).
I deleted the provider a few days ago prior to the test
This is super weird, it feels like the delete crashed in the middle and deleted only some of the entities. Im looking into this.
Unable to reproduce. Could you check this again? maybe provide more info?
This bz as it is currently defined is a zstream only bug as it was not created in a clone process and has no upstream bug. I'm not sure it belongs on the zstream especially since currently we have no reproduction for this.
(In reply to Ari Zellner from comment #5) > Unable to reproduce. Could you check this again? maybe provide more info? Re-adding needinfo on Pavel.
Tried to recreate on 5.7 and it doesn't happen any more. Closing the issue for the time being
