Comment 1 Jaroslav Škarvada 2016-08-23 15:05:50 UTC
Fixed by following upstream commit:
https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/tuned.git/commit/?id=8121ea9166d5f2828d97338811c5521c7a30489f

Comment 4 Ramesh N 2016-10-24 10:40:18 UTC
We are facing a critical issue in oVirt because of this bug . This is not simply a minor annoyance. Whole host addition fails since tuned-adm blocks the execution for 10 minutes. Considering this is a regression and already fixed in upstream, can it be taken in any z-stream releases ASAP?

See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1378087#c1 for more details about the impact.

Siddarth, Can you respond to comment#7?

Comment 9 Ramesh N 2016-11-04 05:53:47 UTC
Jaroslav Škarvada,

Considering RHEL 7.3 is released, do we know when this bug can be fixed?

Comment 18 Tereza Cerna 2017-04-11 09:32:59 UTC
Tested also in package tuned-2.8.0-1.el7.noarch and it works well.
