Fixed by following upstream commit: https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/tuned.git/commit/?id=8121ea9166d5f2828d97338811c5521c7a30489f
We are facing a critical issue in oVirt because of this bug . This is not simply a minor annoyance. Whole host addition fails since tuned-adm blocks the execution for 10 minutes. Considering this is a regression and already fixed in upstream, can it be taken in any z-stream releases ASAP? See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1378087#c1 for more details about the impact.
Siddarth, Can you respond to comment#7?
Jaroslav Škarvada, Considering RHEL 7.3 is released, do we know when this bug can be fixed?

Hi, qa_ack was added.
Tested also in package tuned-2.8.0-1.el7.noarch and it works well.
