This fix is a continuation of the follow fix which was shipped with CFME 5.6.1:

Change Custom Button edit screen to default the Object Details selection from "Automation" to "Request". Similar to the change for the Simulation screen in PR #9979.

Verified in 5.6.2.0

The button editing dialog shows the Request by default.
