Description of problem: LibreOffice Calc is running very slow on Fedora 23 with mate desktop and compiz. This bug is a regression since LibreOffice Calc was running fluently on Fedora 22 with the same hardware. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): libreoffice-calc-5.0.6.2-9.fc23.x86_64 How reproducible: Launch LibreOffice Calc and open a sheet with many cells and formulas. Try to navigate in the sheet with the scroll bars. Try to type a new formula and see the result. Try to click and drag formulas and see the result. Actual results: Everything is very slow from the scrolling to the calculation of formulas. The click and drag may take up to 2 seconds before showing the value of the new cells. Expected results: LibreOffice Calcl show work fluently, just as it was on Fedora 22 with the same hardware. Additional info: mate-desktop-1.14.1-1.fc23.x86_64 compiz-manager-0.7.0-2.fc23.noarch emerald-0.8.12.4-1.fc23.x86_64 kmod-nvidia-304xx (my GPU is a GeForce 9600 GT)
Try the 5.0.6.2-10.fc23 update to see if this is bug 1303562 where CAIRO_OPERATOR_DIFFERENCE makes nvidia drivers ultra slow
