Description Pavol Brilla 2016-09-01 14:02:15 UTC
Description of problem:
Clean installed rhvh see same version update file as update

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhvh-4.0-0.20160829.0+1

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install latest rhvh (rhvh-4.0-0.20160829.0+1)
2. add repo with update.rpms
3. add to engine
4. wait for update icon in gui / test yum update from cli

Actual results:
update to same version is not reasonable

Expected results:
not showing same version as update

Additional info:
Result differs between updated machine and clean install machine and according to comments in bz#1364040 it is not same issue.

Install latest rhvh from pxe (rhvh-4.0-0.20160829.0+1), attach repo with updates and add it to engine, wait, host want to upgrade to same version as it is installed rhvh-4.0-0.20160829.0+1)

Install previous rhvh from pxe (GA build - 4.0-20160817.0 ), attach repo with updates, add host to engine - update visible and successfull rhvh-4.0-0.20160829.0+1, no problem, even after longer time no update visible.

Douglas, could you check the bug bz#1364040, is it the same issue? From my point of view, if the latest rhvh already installed, then "upgrade" button should not be available in engine.

Hi Ying, I agree at this point. Pavol, we are going to fix it in 4.0.4 covering bz#1364040, I am closing this report now as duplicate but fell free to re-open in case it's no fixed in 4.0.4.

Thanks!
