Fabian, I am confused, we tested nodectl via cmd and checked the node dashboard on cockpit UI from beta to GA, and 4.0.3. Not sure what should we do on on this bug.
I believe this is upstream
Thanks Ryan! we will check the upstream to make sure that.
ovirt-node-ng-nodectl-4.0.6-0.20161028.0.el7 is built in upstream done, but installation is blocked by bug 1389679, if we want to fully verify this bug to check nodectl UI status on upstream build, then let's wait the bug 1389679 fix firstly.
Test Version ovirt-node-ng-installer-ovirt-4.0-snapshot-2016110904.iso Test Steps: 1. Clean install ovirt-node-ng-installer-ovirt-4.0-snapshot-2016110904.iso 2. Login cockpit website hostIP:9090 with root account 3. Select "Virtualization", then "Dashborad" 4. Check the node status is shown or not 5. Check the nodectl package is installed or not with command: #rpm -qa|grep nodectl Result: 1. node status is shown on virtualization dashborad correctly 2. nodeclt is installed #rpm -qa|grep nodectl ovirt-node-ng-nodectl-4.0.6-0.20161108.0.el7.noarch The bug cannot be reproduced, change the status to VERIFIED.
