This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 26 development cycle. Changing version to '26'.
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
The description for the package says: Backports to earlier versions of Python 3, if they exist, do not need this package because of changes made in Python 3.3 in PEP 420 (http://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0420/). So my understanding is that Python 3.x backports would not have a Requires on this package and python3-backports isn't required. But please let me know if you're aware of a package where that's not the case.
