Need to consume bz#1372038 in RHEV-H 3.6.z and 4.0.z to contain the latest gluster client packages. +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1373661 +++
Test version: redhat-virtualization-host-4.0-20160919.0 imgbased-0.8.5-0.1.el7ev.noarch # rpm -qa | grep glusterfs glusterfs-cli-3.7.9-12.el7.x86_64 glusterfs-3.7.9-12.el7.x86_64 glusterfs-client-xlators-3.7.9-12.el7.x86_64 glusterfs-fuse-3.7.9-12.el7.x86_64 glusterfs-rdma-3.7.9-12.el7.x86_64 glusterfs-libs-3.7.9-12.el7.x86_64 glusterfs-api-3.7.9-12.el7.x86_64 # Test result: RHVH contain the above 7 gluster client packages but lacked "glusterfs-devel", actually the vintage hypervisor has this package, please see bug 1373661 #c5. Hi Fabian, Is this necessary?
For the worth of information, glusterfs-devel package is not required anywhere. I am not sure, how that is available with vintage RHEV-H
The package was not explicitly requested, thus I don't see a need for it.
