Fedora 24 installer

Hi

I tried to install Fedora24 with the Server Edition dvd.

Couldn't. Why ?

I own a computer with about 50 partitions most of them in extX format.

When I start Anaconda, before asking me what I would like to do, it decides to fsck absolutely all these linux partitions, without taking care of what is or not installed on.

That means that between the moment I start the dvd and the moment I finally can choose what to do, I have to wait about 3 hours the snake finishes. And if I did the most small error, I have to redo all the process. And I don't see any reason to vaste all this time.

I tried also to kill one after another the all these fsck processes. But finally Anaconda complains that it couldn't verifiy the storage space and it denies to go ahead. And there is no option to force it.

This is an absolute non sense.

The installer has just to do its job, i-e install the distro, and nothing more. Or maybe it could drive the kids to school, open the windows to get some fresh air, cook donuts or whatever.

Anaconda should eventually fsck only the partition it has to deal whith. I say eventually because if a partition is going to be re-formated, I don't see why fsck it before formatting it rather than after. But if I'm wrong, let me know ?

I hope this will be fixed soon.

Regards
