Similar problem has been detected: I tried to debug #1382001 in Boxes. After triggering the issue, I tried to log back to the first user (two times, as first time it showed some dialog for a brief moment and put me back in sddm). When trying to log in for the second time, Boxes just crashed. reporter: libreport-2.8.0 backtrace_rating: 4 cmdline: /usr/bin/gnome-boxes --gapplication-service crash_function: _g_log_abort executable: /usr/bin/gnome-boxes global_pid: 11727 kernel: 4.8.6-300.fc25.x86_64 package: gnome-boxes-3.22.1-1.fc25 pkg_fingerprint: 4089 D8F2 FDB1 9C98 pkg_vendor: Fedora Project reason: gnome-boxes killed by SIGTRAP runlevel: N 5 type: CCpp uid: 1000
The applications are crashing because something is encountering this error (ie. G_LOG_LEVEL_ERROR): "Error reading events from display: Broken pipe"
Tentatively re-assigning to gtk3. Could be Wayland related since all affected users are running Fedora 25.
