Created attachment 1201581 [details] Screenshot Description of problem: When user hovers over menu 'Middleware', the middleware sub-menu items like 'Middleware Deployments' is shown with 'Middleware Deplo...' Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): DR2 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch CloudForms container using the quickstart guide: https://docs.engineering.redhat.com/display/JP/CloudForms+Middleware+-+Quickstart+Guide#CloudFormsMiddleware-QuickstartGuide-CloudFormswithMiddlewareIntegrationEnabled 2. Login to CloudForms Management Engine 3. Hover the cursor over Middleware' menu. 4. Oberver the sub-menu items like 'Middleware Deployments' Actual results: Middleware sub-menu items are truncated and shown partly with dots Expected results: Middleware sub-menu items are shown in full Additional info:
Ultimately John Doyle has to decide, but I think dropping is fine, as all those sub-menu items live inside the 'Middleware' menu item, so the context is given.
There's a dup of this issue somewhere in the MIQ tracker. Please drop the prefix, it's redundant.
This has been fixed with this commit https://github.com/manageiq/manageiq/commit/01083adbcaa79eed3c1abbcd40df0426f6f6a23f
Verified on Version 5.7.0.3.20160927165516_075d0f3 Verified that Middleware sub menu items are readable and shown without 'Middleware' prefix.
