Description of problem: Currently there is no way in the Ceph 2.0 version of ceph-ansible to encrypt disks with dm-crypt. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ceph-ansible-1.0.5-32.el7scon.noarch How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. /usr/share/ceph-ansible/group_vars/osd.sample does not include the dm-crypt scenario Actual results: Users cannot use ceph-ansible to encrypt OSD data/journal disks Expected results: Users should be able to use ceph-ansible to encypt OSD data and journal disks Additional info: Upstream commit which adds this scenario can be found here: https://github.com/ceph/ceph-ansible/commit/5978d55d221f435e052514dc328fb701783b2f18
We are in the process of syncing upstream and downstream ceph-ansible, so this should be available for 2.1 or so, Ken can you confirm?
